Submission Guidelines

Welcome to Forage Feed, the recipe platform designed to make plant-based recipes easy to create, discover and share.

Forage Feed allows you to publish content, including but not limited to, plant-based recipes, comments, external website links, meal plans, grocery lists and images (the “Content”).

By using the Forage Feed Website, you agree to the Terms Of Use, and the Submission Guidelines, as outlined below.

Amendment

Forage Feed may revise these Submission Guidelines, at any time, without notice and the amended guidelines will automatically be effective. Your continued access to the Forage Feed will constitute your acceptance of any changes to these guidelines.

Respectful Behaviour

Forage Feed strives to cultivate a community that is kind, considerate and respectful. While discussing ideas and constructive feedback is encouraged, we do not tolerate any behaviour that could reasonably defined as unlawful, antagonistic, harmful or discriminatory in nature.

Any complaints of inappropriate behaviour will be managed on an ad hoc and confidential basis, as per the Terms of Use.

Recipe Submissions

Forage Feed strives to be the leading community resource for plant-based recipes. Therefore, all submitted recipes must meet the following criteria:

a) The recipe must include the following information:

  • Your username
  • Recipe title
  • Recipe image
  • Recipe summary 
  • Preparation time
  • Cook time
  • How many people the recipe serves
  • Recipe ingredients 
  • Recipe directions, if applicable; or
  • Original Recipe URL, if applicable

b) The recipe is 100% plant-based and does not contain ingredients or images of red meat (beef, goat, lamb, pork etc.), poultry (chicken, turkey, quail), seafood (fish, crabs, clams etc.) or wild game (rabbit, deer) etc.

a) The recipe is complete and relevant to the recipe or dietary preference (e.g. the correct categories and fields are selected, the image is a true and accurate representation of the recipe, all the ingredients are listed etc.)

b) The recipe is not a duplicate or repeated content.

c) You have all the intellectual property rights to submit the recipe, or you have provided the appropriate attribution required under copyright law.

d) The recipe contains a well-composed image of the meal, centred, with no children, people or pets in the image.
