CREATING CONNECTION
FRIENDS SUPPORTING
FRIENDS
As food bloggers, we know it’s difficult to find your tribe.
You spend countless hours creating a delicious recipe, meticulously take hundreds of photos and craft a beautifully written post. Yet you’re still on page 3 on google and your only committed reader is your grandma. #truestory
Forage Feed was designed to help bridge the gap and to cultivate a community where readers organically discover and fall in love with your content.
But, we aren’t just another recipe website.
Designed for food bloggers and home cooks alike, we cultivate and support a community of conscious eaters.
how it works
What is a recipe submission website?
Recipe Submission websites are an excellent way for bloggers to attract their niche audience and generate traffic to their food blogs.
But how do they work? As a food blogger, you submit an image from your recipe and the original post’s URL. If the submission is approved, the website will feature your work. Then, when a visitor clicks on your recipe, it will direct the user to your original blog post (similar to Pinterest). It’s an excellent way for users to discover your content, and it’s an effective strategy when you first start your food blog.
The challenge is that many recipe submission websites are different. Some websites don’t accept new users. Some charge an annual fee. Others will only accept submissions with professional-quality images. Some even require you to share the full recipe.
Forage Feed is designed differently –
NO FEES
We want people to be empowered to make informed food choices that promote health and wellbeing, with no ongoing fees or submission restrictions.
100% plant-based
We aspire to be the leading community-focused website to feature thoughtfully prepared plant-based recipes featuring different dietary preferences.
COMMUNITY FOCUS
We seek connection with those who love food as much as we do and allow users to interact, leave comments and share their creations.
CREATIVE INCLUSIVITY
We are a community that values inclusivity and accepts submissions from home cooks and food bloggers, irrespective of their photography skills.
VALUE CONTRIBUTION
We value the contribution from this community and support food bloggers by improving their Google Rankings with backlinks (explained more below).
added FEATURES
We create the means to make plant-based recipes easy to create, discover and share by allowing users to create their own meal plans & collections.

3. Complete the Submission Form and remember to include the URL to your original recipe blog post.

HOW WE SUPPORT YOU
OPTIMISE YOUR FOOD BLOG SEO
SEO stands for “Search Engine Optimisation”. In essence, SEO is how Google ranks and displays your website. The higher your website ranking, the higher likelihood that your content will be displayed in the google search results. As 75% of the internet’s traffic is generated by Google, this should be a key focus for emerging food bloggers.
SEO is complex and is influenced by a number of factors. A significant factor is the number of external websites that links to your website. This tells Google that your website is influential and well regarded by the community. Unfortunately, not all links are created equal.
“Unfollow Links” tell search engines not to follow the outbound link, which communicates to Google that the website does not endorse or support the connection. “Follow Links”, on the other hand, tell Google that your website is well-endorsed. Collecting Follow Links is one strategy used to increase Google’s ranking.
We reward active members known for contributing great content by featuring them in a monthly ‘Blogger in the Spotlight’ guest post. The post will feature your profile, include an interview promoting your work and will contain Follow Links to drive traffic to your website and improve your website’s SEO.
To be considered an active member you will need to have –
- Submitted between 15 – 20 recipes on Forage Feed.
- Followed our Instagram and Pinterest Page.
- Display a “featured on” banner on your website, linking back to Forage Feed.
- Leave meaningful comments to interact with the community.
